The nitty-gritty.

At BeFlawless in East Greenwich, RI, we offer Forever Young BBL, which is clinically proven to fight the aging process at a deeper level. Sciton’s BBL™ (BroadBand Light) technology sends light energy deep into your skin, thus boosting your body’s natural ability to fight aging. This skin rejuvenating treatment reduces the visible signs of aging and corrects sun damage.

Our BBL Series includes three treatments with four weeks between each treatment. Maintenance treatments thereafter can be determined in your customized plan.

Forever Young BBL™ can greatly reduce or eliminate the following skin issues:

  • Freckles
  • Age Spots
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Loose or sagging skin
  • Rosacea
  • Facial Redness
  • Uneven skin tone
  • Skin texture
  • Acne
  • Dark Spots

How it works

Forever Young BBL™ uses targeted pulses of light to gently heat the upper layers of the skin. The absorbed heat stimulates skin cells to naturally produce collagen and elastin, restoring skin to its natural beauty.

This non-invasive procedure can be used as a preventative anti-aging treatment. It also eliminates vessels that cause redness, reduces unwanted pigmentation, and improves the overall quality of your skin.

After your very first treatment, your skin will feel smoother, pores will be smaller, and uneven pigmentation will be reduced. Results continue to become more noticeable with additional treatments.

This is a three treatment series, with four weeks between each treatment. We require that you keep up with a customized at-home care plan between treatments. The at-home routine ensures optimal results, and makes each treatment more effective.

What to expect

You may feel a quick, warm sensation as the light is absorbed by the targeted areas. Your procedure may take a few minutes to half an hour, depending on the size of the area to be treated.

This is a non-invasive and gentle procedure with virtually no downtime. In most cases, you are able to resume your normal activities immediately. You may experience some redness that typically subsides within a few hours. For some pigmented lesions, you will see a darkening of the treated area followed by fading and flaking off.

Treatments can increase sensitivity to the sun, so we recommend patients use additional sun protection and try to avoid excessive sun exposure following a treatment.
