The nitty-gritty.

At BeFlawless in East Greenwich, RI, we offer Halo laser resurfacing treatments. Halo restores the glow that sun, time and stress have depleted from your skin. By triggering your skin’s natural healing response, tone and texture are visibly improved, restoring a more youthful glow.

The treatment combines deep dermal revitalization with epidermal renewal. Halo’s unique technology gets the job done without the painful, long recovery times of other laser resurfacing treatments.

Halo precisely targets years of skin damage, reducing or eliminating the following:

  • Discoloration
  • Sun damage
  • Visible signs of aging
  • Fines lines
  • Uneven skin tone
  • Enlarged pores
  • Poor texture
  • Light scars

How it works

The Halo hybrid fractional laser combines ablative and non-ablative wavelengths delivered to a microscopic treatment zone, maximizing results and minimizing downtime. This technology produces targeted, effective results that improve the appearance of numerous skin conditions.

You will see improvements in overall tone and texture, as well as skin reflectivity and glow. Additional benefits of Halo include significant removal of discoloration, reduction in the appearance of fine lines, and reduced pore size.

The number of treatments needed is completely up to you. Your clinician will create a plan based on the results you want to achieve. You can choose to do one or two deep treatments, or you can have multiple less aggressive treatments to achieve a similar goal over a longer period of time.

What to expect

Your BeFlawless clinician may use a topical ointment on your skin to reduce the sensation during treatment, and you will feel minimal to no discomfort. Treating one section of your face at a time, your clinician will move the Halo hand piece in a crisscross pattern.

For the first 24 hours after treatment, you should keep your skin protected according to your clinician’s instructions. After that you can resume normal activities. Your skin will begin to peel after about 24 hours, but you will be able to put on makeup.

You will begin to see results between day 2 and 5 following your Halo treatment, but your skin will continue to improve daily. Most patients see the greatest improvement in the first 2 to 3 weeks. Halo laser resurfacing results can last for years, as long as you keep your new healthy skin protected at all times with sunscreen.
